 Dr. Kathleen Bartos ~  Kathleen D. Bartos M.S., D.V.M. received her B.S. degree in zoology from Duke University and her M.S. in veterinary physiology from the University of Florida before attending veterinary school.  She completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) degree at the University of Florida in 1986.  She worked in other veterinary practices in east Volusia for four years before opening Halifax Veterinary Center in July of 1990.  She studied veterinary acupuncture with Dr. Shen Xie at the Chi Institute in Gainesville, FL, is certified in therapeutic laser and stem cell therapies, and is a member of the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management.  She is also an active member of the American, Florida and Volusia/Flagler Veterinary Medical Associations.

     
    








Dr. Susan Kluth
~
Dr. Kluth received her B.S. degree in biology from the University of South Florida and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Florida.  She has worked at Halifax Veterinary Center since graduating from vet school in 1999.  She has a special interest and extra study in behavior. She is certified in therapeutic laser therapy and stem cell therapy.  She is also a member of the American, Florida, and Volusia County Veterinary Medical Associaitons.



    
           





Dr. Anna Raevsky ~

Anna Raevsky has been with Halifax Veterinary Center since 2005. She received her B.S. in Zoology from the University of Florida followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. During her studies, she participated in research on alligator reproduction and worked at  Gatorland Zoo, Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago, and the Smithsonian Zoological Park in Washington, D.C. A native Russian speaker, she lectured on emergency veterinary medicine in Russia,  at the Moscow Zoo. Dr Raevsky worked in emergency medicine in Washington D.C. for seven years and lived in Switzerland for eight years. She is a member of the American and the Volusia County Veterinary Medical Associations, the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, and the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management. She has a special interest in surgery and pain management. She also is certified in Regenerative Stem Cell Therapy, a new treatment for arthritis and other painful orthopedic conditions
