Veterinary Technicians

Meghan~
My name is Meghan and unlike many of my coworkers, I've not been around
animals my whole life, as a matter of fact, I was terrified of them as a
child. However, when I was eight years old I got my first dog and I have been
in love with animals from that moment on. After graduating high school I knew I
wanted to work with animals but was unsure in what capacity. I received
an Associates Degree from DSC, attended UCF for a while and then decided
to attend Veterinary Technician school. In July of 2008 I graduated with
Honors from St. Pete College with an Associate of Science in Veterinary
Technology. I began working at Halifax in 2007 and have worked my way up
into the Head Technician position. I love working at Halifax and look
forward to the opportunity to meet you and your 4-legged family members!

Angie~
I moved from Philadelphia, PA to Daytona in August 2007 and began working with Halifax Veterinary Center in October.  I always wanted to work with animals but was unsure of a particular field until now.  In my spare time I play guitar, write songs and sing.  I also love garage sale shopping to find "ugly, beautiful" odds and ends to redecorate or refinish.  I also love decorating. Making jewelry and anything creative.  I am a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan- my #1 no matter how badly we play.  I currently live in Port Orange with my, 3 cats Morgan, Afton and Boca (who by the way I got from Halifax Veterinary Center), my very animated Chinese crested Scorch, and my newest addition a Shih Tzu named Tai.  I look forward to a great and long future with HVC.

Zack ~
My name is Zack and I was born and raised in Daytona Beach.  I have been a veterinary technician for seven years here in Daytona and in Orlando.  I am a DSC graduate and currently working towards my Bachelors degree at UCF.  I have a Chihuahua named sugar and a Shih Tzu named Truman.  I am excited to have the opportunity to work at Halifax Veterinary Center.

Susan  LaJoie-Grosenver~
My name is Susan and I am a 35 year old transplant from Massachusetts. I currently reside in New Smyrna Beach with my husband, three children, and one grandson.  When I'm not at HVC, I'm at home spending time with my family and caring for my houseful of animals.  I love working at HVC, my second home, with its excellent staff and wonderful clientele!

Allyson Murphy~
My name is Allyson and I am a 24 year old former Air Force brat. I currently live in Ormond Beach and have been living there for 10 years with my seven year old mutt, Jasmine and new beagle puppy, Bella. I recently graduated from UCF in December 2009 with a bachelor of science in psychology. I have always loved being around animals since I can remember and that is why I am currently working on my associate of science degree in veterinary technology. I have been working at HVC since January 2010 and have loved every minute of it. I look forward to meeting all of you and your four-legged family members.
